Buildings don’t get much more complex than the New Museum of Liverpool. On-site equipment includes bio-diesel and natural gas CHP units, absorption and screw chillers. The total installation cost of the buildings heating and cooling systems was in excess of £4M.
Domec Ltd is responsible for a management contract at the museum that involves a site presence three days each week plus facilitation of engineering services including planned and reactive maintenance.
The multi award winning (the largest national museum built in the last 100 years) building has been critically acclaimed as one of the most eco-friendly publically funded developments in the UK.
